E-learning is most certainly advantageous for people that cannot from various reasons (time, disability etc) attend to traditional learning methods, since the material is available 24 hours a day.
OdpovědětVymazatHowever, having a set schedule is a helper for lazy people like myself, if I had to learn from a website some stuff I would most likely glance at it once and then leave it.

Adv: modern, interesting, information are easy to reach
OdpovědětVymazatDisadv: you can be easily distracted (you are still on pc/internet -- facebook) , not everything on the internet is true or validated information

Synchronous learning - refers to a learning environment in which everyone takes part at the same time.
OdpovědětVymazatVLE - virtual learning environment
E-learning 2.0 - with the introduction of the world wide web, e-learning was taken to a whole new level called e-learning 2.0
educational technology - is the study and ethical practice of facilitating e-learning
Advantages of e-learning: It can be more entertaining, you can use it outside of the school environment, clarity of the material
Disadvantages of e-learning: it can isolate you from contact from other peers, it can distract you to do other things
Eisner, Šantrůček
As for me, the main disadvantage in e-learning is the fact that using this kind of education or learning leads as to the potential gap in communication and understanding, because of the physical distance. Nowadays, i suppose, that facebook and other social networks are enough for creating such a gap. But when it comes to learning this way, it is unacceptable for me.
OdpovědětVymazatBut of course, it has som positive aspects. And one of the most important is that e-learning is easier, does not require so much time and money.

Raková
Advantages:
OdpovědětVymazat- can provide students with extra practice outside the classroom
- enables individualisation - individual pace
- possibility to easily return to "problematic" areas and improve them
- is natural for students to use - close to all the technology they are used to using every day
Disadvantages
- social interaction and real-life reactions are limited - human factor - missing
- can be time-consuming for the teacher to manage when combined with a "normal" classroom

Advatages of e-learning are very obvious, you can learn even if you don't have enough time to commute to school or you just don't want to and you can learn almost everything.
OdpovědětVymazatOn the other hand, if you're learning at home, you can be easily distracted by another things or people and nobody forces you to learn, so you can stop whenewer you want. Hach
E-learning provides various options of use. It helps people in self-education without a tutor; teacher can use these methods for homework and evaluation etc. With the access to the internet practically 24/7, we can learn whenever we want without being dependent on teacher as a person.
OdpovědětVymazatDisadvantages can be misunderstanding the matter without proper explanation from actual person, lack of self-reflection and therefore insufficient evaluation.

anvantages of e-learning are : you do not have to be in school personally, you still can comunicate with the teacher, you can search more information online
OdpovědětVymazatdisadvantages: stay focused can be difficult, you can be distructed by other interesting websites, it is impersonal, you do not comunicate face to face
Malcová
Advantages- among many other advantages that have been already mentioned I think that
OdpovědětVymazat- teachers can save money eg. tests may be provided with pictures, which may be expesive in a printed form
- student can test their knowledge and compare their results immediately- they don't have to wait until the teacher corrects the tests
But as a big disadvantage I see the lack of personal communication, since students appreciate being advised in person by the teacher or a classmate and giving advice in a short text form may be unclear.

VymazatI think that biggest problem is that any distraction is few clicks away. It is hard to stop someone from browsing all the time. I can see on myself that I´m not focused enough when I do something on my PC. There are so many other things to do...
OdpovědětVymazatAdv: information are availible to everyone, it is easier to verify credibility of informations, You can study online from home and overcome certain difficulties as illnes, social fear and so on... Kupka
